Patch 11.1 Week 2: Raid, Mythic+, PvP & More!

Liberation of Undermine Raid Unlocks

With the second week of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Season 2 is officially starting, unlocking new content across Mythic Dungeons, Raids, and PvP. The Liberation of Undermine Raid is accessible March 4th, allowing players to tackle Normal, Heroic, and the first wing of LFR. However, the Story Mode version of the raid will not be available until March 11.

Loot from the Liberation of Undermine Raid is as follows:

• LFR: 623–649 ilvl
• Normal: 646–652 ilvl
• Heroic: 649–665 ilvl
• Mythic: 662–678 ilvl

The Race to World First for Mythic difficulty officially kicks off this week, and guilds will be pushing to be the first to defeat Gallywix, the final boss.

Additionally, the raid introduces new mount farming opportunities:

• Prototype A.S.M.R. – Available from Gallywix on any difficulty
• Keys to the Big G – Only available from Mythic difficulty

A new Renown track is also available, containing 20 levels of rewards, including the highly anticipated T-Rex mount, Furious Flarendo at the final tier. Players can only unlock one Renown per week, so starting early is key.

Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation & Rewards

Season 2 of Mythic+ brings a fresh lineup of dungeons:

• Cinderbrew Meadery
• Darkflame Cleft
• Priory of the Sacred Flame
• The Rookery
• Operation: Floodgate
• Theater of Pain
• Operation: Mechagon
• The MOTHERLODE!!

This season also introduces new Keystone Mounts:

• Keystone Master Mount – Crimson Shreddertank
• Keystone Legend Mount – Enterprising Shreddertank

Mythic+ Gear Scaling for Season 2:

• Keystone 2-5: Champion’s Gear
• Keystone 6+: Hero’s Gear, maxing out at ilvl 655

Another significant addition is the Mythic-exclusive mount from Darkflame Cleft, Wick’s Lead, which was previously unavailable. Now, players can farm this mount for the first time.

Delves & Gear Progression

Delves are another major activity where players can acquire powerful gear:

• Adventure & Veteran Gear (Delve 1-6)
• Champion Gear (Delve 7-11, up to 629 ilvl)
• Hero Gear from the Great Vault

Season 2 also brings new rewards for Delves, including:

• Schematics for mount customization
• Unique toy
• Warband Selection Screen

For those looking for a challenge, a new Hard Mode is now available. Players who defeat The Underpin boss will earn exclusive achievements and cosmetic rewards.

PvP & Great Vault Rewards

The new PvP season has begun, meaning players can now start earning Season 2 PvP gear and competing in Arenas and Battlegrounds. This week also marks the start of the Great Vault, allowing players to claim powerful rewards based on their PvE and PvP activity.

To maximize loot, it’s recommended to:

• Complete raids, Mythic+, and PvP matches
• Meet the required activity thresholds for multiple Great Vault reward choices

Final Story Chapters & Alt Skip

On March 4, the final two chapters of the main storyline will unlock. Completing the story will:

• Grant reputation with cartels
• Reward a significant gear upgrade
• Unlock the alt-skip feature

The alt-skip feature allows players to bypass the storyline on additional characters. Once players complete the story, they will receive the “Undermined” achievement, unlocking the ability to skip by speaking to Renzik “The Shiv” or Paks Topskimmer.

Darkmoon Faire Bonus Rep Boost

From now until Saturday evening, players can take advantage of the Darkmoon Faire, which grants a 10% reputation boost. This is a great way to progress Renown faster and unlock rewards sooner.

Massive Gold Farming Opportunity

With the new raid, high-value Bind on Equip (BoE) items are dropping in all difficulties except Mythic. These BoEs will sell for huge amounts of gold, especially in the first few days.

To farm BoEs efficiently:

1. Go to Premade Groups
2. Search “Boe” under “Raids – The War Within”
3. Join groups farming Normal and Heroic difficulty

Heroic BoEs will sell for the most gold early on, making this a profitable Opportunity.

Weekly Events & Activities

This week’s weekly events include:

• Battleground Bonus Event
• PvP Brawl
• Pet Battle Bonus Event

While not game-changing, it’s a solid week for PvP players looking to gear up quickly at the start of the season.
