Apprentice and Journeyman Fishing
You can learn these tiers from basic Fishing trainers found in most capital cities and towns:

Expert Fishing (Up to 225 Skill)
To train Expert Fishing, you must purchase and read the book “Expert Fishing – The Bass and You”. This book is sold by Old Man Heming in Booty Bay (Stranglethorn Vale). Your character must be at least level 20 and have 125 Fishing skill to read the book.
Artisan Fishing (Up to 300 Skill)
To train Artisan Fishing, you must complete the quest “Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme” given by Nat Pagle himself. He is located on an island in Dustwallow Marsh, west of Theramore. The quest requires fishing specific rare fish from all over Azeroth, and you must have 225 Fishing skill to start the quest.
How Fishing Works in Classic WoW
Fishing is a time-based, interactive profession that requires a Fishing Pole and access to a body of water. Once you cast your line, you wait for the bobber to splash, then click it to attempt to catch a fish. Your success depends on your Fishing skill and the difficulty of the water zone.

Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Extravaganza
This is a weekly world event that takes place every Sunday afternoon in Stranglethorn Vale. It is a server-wide competition where players fish along the coast to catch Speckled Tastyfish. The first person to turn in 40 wins the event and gets to choose from exclusive rewards.

- Hook of the Master Angler: Transforms the user into a fish
- High-Test Eternium Fishing Line: +5 Fishing line for poles
